How is the attendance reported to the Construction Industry Licensing Board?
Beginning on September 1, 2001, the CILB began using an Internet-based reporting system wherein all CEU providers are required to upload a list of licensed contractors who have attended approved courses to the CILB's main database. These uploads are done via a computer program designed by the CILB and must be performed within five days of the completion of each seminar.
How is the attendance monitored by the Construction Industry Licensing Board?
Each time a licensed contractor applies for a renewal of their license, the CILB will check the database to confirm that the CEU requirement have been met. If the data base indicates that the license holder has not accumulated enough CEU credits, the license renewal will be denied until the CEU credits have been met.
